At VDW Construction, we strive to find efficient ways to save time and resources for your farm. There are different types of silage techniques for storing your forage. Using a silage fork to distribute your silage is one of them. With a silage fork, you can easily and quickly spread the forage over the silage, saving time and money.
How does a silage fork work?
A silage fork is great for distributing all types of silage. You can attach a maize knife to the silage fork, this way you can also easily distribute maize during ensiling. The tines are made of high-quality sprung steel and are wear-resistant, so you can easily distribute the silage without spilling.
There are two versions of the silage fork; a light rigid version with working widths of 2.70 metres and 3.45 metres and a heavy folding version with widths of 4.30 metres and 4.90 metres. Thanks to the correct spacing between the tines, you can easily scoop up the silage without losing any.
